Project Info

For the launch of David Beckham bodywear collection at H&M, our studio created a custom software framework to filter and display all social media reactions to the Silver Statue campaign.

For this initiative we also built a responsive website that informed users about the contest and engaged them across different mediums.

Let's settle this right here, right now.

People took photos like this. Many of them. These are not even the most embarrassing ones. We’ll keep those for ourselves – it’s the kind of view you cannot un-see.

The campaign caused a reaction as a ripple effect on Social Media. People took photos and shared them to their friends. They jumped in to comment on the unusual poses. Video bloggers picked it up and in total there were thousands of photos shared on Instagram with the hashtag #HMBeckham.

The Statue

Multiple statues of David Beckham were placed in NYC, LA and SF. People were able to win prizes by taking a photo with the statue and share it on Instagram.

Filering system

To keep the site safe, we built a filtering system that allowed the client to reject images, or block users in real-time. This is a selection of photos we gathered from the campaign: from naked to embarrassed people.

David Beckham Bodywear

The collection itself is quite comfortable. It doesn’t show much, or.. it does. There are several styles of underwear to lounge wear and athletic clothing.

The lucky instagram winners were able to try some of this stuff but most importantly, go home with a mini-statue.
